VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Mississippi Tourism Association (MTA) has introduced the Heart of Hospitality Workforce Development Training Program. The free online course is aimed at equipping tourism professionals with essential skills to enhance guest experiences.

According to MTA, the courses are designed to guide participants on a journey through real-world experiences and situations they may encounter on a daily basis. Skills learned throughout each session will be tested through short quizzes, allowing participants to earn the designation of “Certified Hospitality Expert” (CHE) after successfully completing the program.

This initiative supports the association’s mission to foster professionalism across Mississippi’s travel and tourism sectors, including hotels, restaurants, attractions, and destination marketing organizations.

Click here to register for the course. For more information contact Amanda Roll, Workforce and Leadership Development coordinator, Mississippi Tourism Association.
