Mississippi VA to host annual Wreaths Across America event
VICKSBURG, Miss. – Mississippi VA and Friends of Mississippi Veterans (FOMV) will host the annual Wreaths Across America event at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemeteries in Kilmichael and Newton.
- North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery – 2 Legion Road, Kilmichael, MS
- Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery – 248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS
The event will honor fallen veterans and their families during the holiday season by placing wreaths on each headstone and columbarium at both memorial cemeteries. The event is free and open to the public. All wreaths are purchased and donated by Friends of Mississippi Veterans, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
