One Injured in Rollover Accident

One person has been injured in a single vehicle rollover accident on Old Hwy 27.

Just before 11:45 p.m. a vehicle left the roadway on Old Hwy 27 south of the South Frontage Road. The vehicle rolled over and ended on its side in the ditch. The lone occupant was trapped, but safely extracted by Vicksburg Firefighters.

A fire medic unit, Engine 2, Deputy Fire Chief Trey Martin and VPD units responded to the scene.

The roadway is blocked at this time and will remain so while units work the accident scene. Take another route.
