Patchy fog to start the weekend, gives way to sunshine and warm temps

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Patchy fog and mild overnight lows will lead into a warm and mostly sunny weekend, with only a slight chance of rain on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Tonight, patchy fog is expected to develop after 11 p.m. under partly cloudy skies. The low will be around 65 with calm winds.
Saturday morning may see areas of fog before 10 a.m., but skies will turn mostly sunny by afternoon with a high near 85. Winds will be light and variable before shifting east at 5 to 10 mph. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 67 and calm conditions.
Sunday brings a slight 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., though most of the day will remain mostly sunny with a high near 86. Winds will stay light, becoming south-southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. The evening will be mostly clear, with a low around 66 and calm winds.
Monday is expected to be sunny and warm, with a high near 87 and light south winds increasing to 5 to 10 mph. Monday night will become mostly cloudy with a low near 67 and south winds around 5 mph.
