PCA crushed Madison St. Joe in a doubleheader on Tuesday
Porter’s Chapel Academy improved to 3-4 on the year after crushing Madison St. Joe in a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Lady Eagles had an impressive 10-run inning in the third to put the game out of reach.
Game 1:
PCA crushed the Lady Bruins 20-12 in game one.
Kinsley Luke went 3 for 4 with four RBIs(1 double). Marley Bufkin hit two doubles while Sophie Masterson, Lauren Rae Davis(3 RBIs), and Audrey Carraway all had two hits. Natalie Cantin also hit a triple(1 RBI) and Mia Abdo finished with one hit and three RBIs. Kendall Smith and Brooklyn Nicholson hit one RBI.
Luke struck out three batters in the win and Masterson struck out one.
Game 2:
PCA picked up a 22-6 victory in game two against Madison St. Joe.
Abdo went 4 for 5 with four RBIs while Bufkin went 3 for 4 with four RBIs, one triple, and one inside-the-park home run. Cantin also hit a triple as well as a home run that went over the fence. She went 3 for 5(5 RBIs) at the plate. Coley Potter had two hits(1 RBI) while Smith, Masterson, and Davis all brought in one hit and one RBI. Luke and Carraway each had a hit.
PCA will host Wilkinson County Christian on Thursday at 7 p.m.
