PCA soccer ended Monday with a close 4-3 loss against Clinton Christian

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Porter’s Chapel Academy’s boys soccer team played Clinton Christian Academy to a close 4-3 loss on Monday night. The Eagles took the loss after a penalty kick shootout.

Grayson Price turned in a standout performance for the Eagles, scoring all three goals. One of Price’s goals came on a free kick from approximately 30 yards out.

Carson Hayes anchored the defense for PCA, finishing with four saves. Cade Cantin contributed offensively with an assist in the match.

The tie kept the Eagles competitive as they continue through the heart of their schedule.

Jan. 14 — St. Aloysius, Home, 5:30 p.m.

Jan. 19 — Manchester, Away, 5 p.m.
