PCA Softball Team Celebrated Senior Night on Monday

VICKSBURG, MS.Porter’s Chapel Academy (PCA) softball team celebrated senior night on Monday where they fell short 9-7 against Clinton Christian Academy. Sophie Masterson, Marley Bufkin, Kinsley Luke, and Natalie Cantin are the Lady Eagles’ four seniors who all had good performances last night. 

Masterson threw nine strikeouts while also hitting a triple as she went 2 for 3 at the plate. Bufkin also went 2 for 3 and she also hit an inside-the-park home run to help keep the game tight. Luke hit a triple and ended the night with three RBIs. Cantin hit a double along with an RBI and added two runs.

Lauren Rae Davis had one hit and two RBIs and Coley Potter hit a single.

The PCA softball team will travel to play Adams County Christian School on Tuesday.
