Several young men also received public service pins for assisting The Salvation Army in raising funds for those in need.

Project Alpha is a mentoring program for young men ages 12–17, sponsored by the Omicron Rho Lambda chapter since 1989. The year-round program includes workshops on family values, self-esteem, leadership skills, STEM activities, academic achievement and educational field trips. Guest speakers and mentors come from backgrounds in science, engineering, education, medicine, law and politics.
