Rescue was involved in a crash at the 4-way

A collision involving Rescue, a specially equipped unit used by the fire department, was involved in a collision at the 4-way of Highway 80 and Highway 27 at approximately 10:30 a.m., this morning.

The impact with a white Cadillac resulted in the stripping of the driver’s side of the vehicle. One person in the Cadillac was transported to University of Mississppi Medical Center in Jackson, and their condition remains unknown. A member of the fire department who was in the Rescue unit was also transported to an area hospital to be checked out.
