Samantha Bailey crowned Miss Key to the South’s Teen 2026
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Samantha Bailey has been named Miss Key to the South’s Teen 2026 after being officially crowned on Saturday. The honor marks a major milestone for Bailey, who earned the title in her first-ever pageant.
“I felt pretty good and excited but very proud of myself,” Bailey said.
Bailey’s community service initiative, “Rising Through Rhythm,” focuses on how dance can support and improve mental health. She said her initiative highlights the importance of movement, expression and rhythm as tools to help teens cope with stress and emotional challenges.
A sophomore at Warren Central High School, Bailey stays active in numerous programs. She is a member of the cheerleading squad, the tennis team, Red Cord, Student Government and the National Technical Honor Society. She has also danced since the age of three. Outside of school, Bailey participates in the Vicksburg Cotillion Club and is a member of Bovina Baptist Church.
As a freshman, Bailey was selected as an All-American Cheerleader at the UCA cheer camp held at Mississippi State University.
She is the daughter of Steven and Susan Bailey.
