Vicksburg native Jeffrey Scott Jr. is now coaching football at Warren Central High School. Scott, a former Vicksburg High School star, will be coaching wide receivers at WCHS for the upcoming 2024 season.

In high school, Scott helped VHS to a 9-4 season under former Head Coach Marcus Rogers in 2016. After his junior year he went on to star for Melbourne Central Catholic where he led the Hustlers to an 8-4 season under Head Coach Stacey Sizemore.

For two years, Scott starred at Copiah-Lincoln Community College before earning a scholarship to Alabama State University. From 2021-2023, Scott starred in the secondary for ASU where he had many highlights, including catching the game-winning interception against Jackson State.

In his final season, Scott transferred to Miles College where the Golden Bears boasted 7-3 record.

After going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, Scott will now put his focus on helping the Vikings’ organization.
