Shady Lawn residents visit Pendleton’s Civil War Museum

Shady Lawn Nursing and Rehab residents enjoyed a recent outing to Charles Pendleton’s Civil War Museum.

Mr Charles and company were so very welcoming and made sure to pass out candy to the residents while they waited to view the museum. Charles and Mr Eric assisted in pushing some of the residents around the museum and held several enticing conversations about the history and artifacts the museum had on display. Fun, Informative, and Historical!

One resident in particular enjoyed the display on General Shaw.

The impressive artillery display captivated both staff and residents!

The residents then made their way to the Coca-Cola museum to view their wonderful vintage collection.

The residents and staff then had a small picnic at Catfish Row Art Park.
