SpringFest by the River to bring food, fun and family vibes to downtown Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — SpringFest by the River will be held this Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Washington Street Park in downtown Vicksburg.

With more than 50 vendors expected, the family-friendly event will feature boutique fashion, handmade crafts, gourmet treats, custom products, and health and wellness services. From clothing and accessories to one-of-a-kind creations and self-care items, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Food options will include:

• Chicken on a stick
• Barbecue
• Fried catfish and fried ribs
• Street corn
• Homemade sweet treats

SpringFest will also include live performances from local cheer and dance teams, music from a live DJ, and classic games such as the sack race, musical chairs, three-legged race, and egg-on-a-spoon race. Families and individuals can compete for prizes.

The Easter Bunny will be available for free photo opportunities with children. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the day.
