Sunny skies and rising temps expected through midweek

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Warm, sunny skies and mild nights will dominate the Vicksburg forecast through Wednesday, with increasing temperatures and breezy conditions midweek, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with patchy fog developing after midnight. Lows will dip into the lower 60s with southwest winds between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday will bring patchy morning fog followed by sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s. Winds will remain out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday night will be mostly clear early, becoming partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s and south winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Sunny skies will continue Wednesday, with highs in the upper 80s and south winds picking up to 15 to 20 mph. Winds may gust up to 25 mph Wednesday night, which will be partly cloudy with lows around 70.
