The Scoop to host Family Game Night on Saturday, offer chance to win free ice cream for a year

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Scoop Ice Cream Shop is hosting a family game night on Saturday, March 21, from 5 to 8 p.m. In addition to the family-friendly event, the shop will offer discounted menu items and a chance to win free ice cream for a year.

Kierra Minor, an employee at The Scoop, previously hosted a successful game night and is bringing the event back to encourage community fun. She’s inviting attendees to “bring your Uno skills.”

The Scoop features frozen treats and unique ice cream flavors created specifically for Vicksburg. Fan favorites include Banana Pudding Ice Cream (made with real banana pudding), Cookies & Cream, and White Chocolate Mousse Frozen Yogurt. All recipes are developed in-house by owner Adam Cook.

“We make countless batches while developing a recipe and work it until it is just right,” said Cook. “Kierra has been with The Scoop for over a year, and since she joined, she has shown incredible work ethic and a deep love for Vicksburg. We are blessed to have her as part of the team and hope the community will come out and support her efforts to offer a fun, family-friendly event.”

The event is open to the public. The Scoop is located at 100 Holt Collier Drive in Vicksburg.
