The Strand to show Stardust

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg’s The Strand Theatre will show “Stardust” this Saturday, July 25 at 7 p.m.

Sponsored by John Roquet, the 2007 film stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Henry Cavill and Robert De Niro. “Stardust” is a stylish and whimsical fantasy is about a Victorian lad (Charlie Cox) who retrieves a fallen star that transforms into a beautiful woman (Claire Danes) whose magic is coveted by a witch.

The film is rated PG-13 and is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Advance tickets will be $9 at Highway 61 Coffeehouse. Tickets will be $10 at the door.

The Strand Theatre is located at 717 Clay Street in downtown Vicksburg. And as always, the popcorn is free.
