5. Coldplay: Super Bowl 50

Coldplay’s performance from Super Bowl 50 takes the fifth spot with 132 million views. Super Bowl 50 temporarily broke from the Roman Numeral numbering system as it would have been referred to as Super Bowl L.

4. Beyonce and Bruno Mars: Super Bowl 50

Fourth place also comes from the halftime show for Super Bowl 50 in 2016. This halftime show was split into two videos, one showcasing the performance of Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, with this video having the fourth highest number of views at 177 million. This is notably the only instance in which a single Super Bowl features twice in the top 10.

3. Rihanna: Super Bowl LVII

Rihanna’s halftime performance at the 2023 Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona. It has managed to rack up an impressive 212 million views in the little over a year since its upload on the 13th of February, 2023. Interestingly, Super Bowl LVII was the most viewed program in American history at the time, peaking at 118.7 million viewers.

2. Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar: Super Bowl LVI

In second place is the halftime performance of the 2022 Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, California, featuring Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar. This halftime performance has garnered 257 million views since its upload date on the 14th of February, 2022.

1. Shakira and Jennifer Lopez: Super Bowl LIV

Taking the top spot on the list is Shakira and Jenifer Lopez’s halftime performance at the 2020 Super Bowl LIV in Miami Gardens, Florida. The last major NFL event before the state went into lockdown during the pandemic, this halftime show is by far the most viewed Super Bowl video, amassing over 304 million views to date, accounting for almost a fifth of all 1.6 billion views of the top ten moments combined.

The first non-halftime moment to appear on the list is that of the New England Patriots vs. Atlanta Falcons highlights from the 2017 Super Bowl LI.

Interestingly, Usher’s recent performance at the recent Super Bowl LVIII has gathered just 16.58 million views – as of the time of writing – since its upload on the 12th of February, meaning that the performance ranks in as the 12th most viewed moment.

A spokesperson for JustGamblers commented on the findings, saying: “The halftime show is a major draw of the Super Bowl, and all the performers that make the top ten clearly gave performances that had a lasting impression.”

“The fact that these halftime shows draw such an astronomical amount of viewership is a testament to the popularity, showmanship, and pure talent of the performers.”
