VICKSBURG, MS – In honor of National First Responders Day, the Vicksburg Tractor Supply will host a special event on Saturday October 26, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the store.

Crew members from Engine 8 of the Vicksburg Fire Department will be there to answer questions about fire safety.

This event is free and open to the public. Tractor Supply is located at 1800 S Frontage Rd.

National First Responders Day, observed annually on October 28, honors those who serve as first responders in emergencies. This includes firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, and others who risk their lives to protect and aid communities during crises. The day recognizes their bravery, commitment, and the critical role they play in ensuring public safety. Established by Congress in 2019, the observance encourages appreciation for first responders’ work and sacrifices while raising awareness about the challenges they face.
