Tuesday night basketball scores

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg and St. Aloysius High Schools both played basketball games on Tuesday. The Flashes took a loss to TriCounty while the Missy Gators defeated Gulf Breeze and the VHS boys fell short 64-37 to Oak Ridge.

VHS Girls:

The Missy Gators won 62-26 where Zion Harvey had 21 points with nine steals and six assists. Cynia Johnson scored 17 points and 13 rebounds while Ny’Keria Watson added nine points. Kenley Henderson put up six points, Aunisty Davis added four, Raylyn Parsons finished with two points and K. Willis hit a free throw.

VHS Boys:

Kris Washington scored 11 points for VHS while Mincer Minor IV put up eight points. Brycen Jones scored six points and Jaquez Jones added four while DeCorey Knight hit a 3-pointer. Javeion Perkins finished with two points. The All-Tournament Team consisted of Jaquez Marshall, Jaquez Jones and Brycen Jones.
