Two vehicle crash near International Paper; At least one airlifted

WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (VDN) — A two motor vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler occurred Monday morning on Highway 3 near the entrance of International Paper.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Warren County Fire Service. Authorities confirmed that at least one person was injured, as AirCare was called in to airlift a patient from the scene.

As of now, there is no official word on how many individuals were injured or the extent of their injuries. Law enforcement officers remain on the scene directing traffic and investigating the cause of the two vehicle crash.
