VHS soccer team hung in tight with Pearl

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg High School girls’ soccer team fell short 2-1 against Pearl on Friday night.

The Missy Gators held the Lady Pirates to 1-0 until ten minutes were left in the game. Amari Johnson scored their lone goal as they now sit with a 7-2 record under Head Coach Maurice Gilliam.

VHS will play against crosstown rivals Warren Central on December 3.
