Vicksburg Kiwanis installs new officers, directors

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Kiwanis Club of Vicksburg held a silent auction and Installation Banquet Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The evening was set to install new officers and directors for the Kiwanis Club’s upcoming year. Also during the even the silent auction set a new record high of $1,800.25 bid on 36 items.
The club celebrated the event by inviting spouses to view the work of the club from the previous year, and recognized nine members who had perfect attendance. Additionally, the club recognized seven members for Distinguished service.
The nine members receiving perfect attendance awards were Dion Adkins, Jami Crews, Donna Gray, Julie Odom, Lindsay Dedeaux, David Blackledge, Fred Peyton, Donna Osburn and Tom Osburn.
The seven members recognized for distinguished Service were Judge Jim Chaney, Lindsay Dedeaux, Chris Gann, Donna Osburn, Tom Osburn, Fred Peyton and Bob Pitts.
The club’s new Directors are David Blackledge, Dion Adkins, Jill Norris, Carlotta Ferguson, Devin Dillon, Stevie Moore, Scott Hughes and Julie Odom.
The new officers are Tom Osburn – Secretary-Treasurer; Jami Crews – Immediate Past President; Lindsay Dedeaux – President; Donna Gray – Vice President; and Julie Patton Johnson – President-elect.
