Vicksburg Porchfest Returns Nov. 2 with 25 Performances, Artisans, and Family Fun

VICKSBURG, MS – On Saturday November 2nd, The Fostoria Neighborhood Association, local musicians, the City of Vicksburg, and community businesses will host the 6th annual Vicksburg Porchfest event featuring 25 musical performances on historic front porches along the blocks of 2300 – 2500 Drummond Street and Dewitt Street from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., then concluding with performances by the Chad Marshall Band from 5 – 6:45 and The Chill from 7 – 9 PM on Dewitt Street. This event is FREE to the community and Rain or Shine!

Musical Performances include:   Steve Fadden, Calvin “Dr. Who” Carson & Jerry, Noel Tello, 3D, Ben Shaw, Patrick Smith, Evan Brister, Ralph Miller, Cindy Veazey, Zach Day, The Goodins, Strang Theory, Zechariah Lloyd Trio, Terry Miller, Shannon Myers, Kitchen Girls, Hatchie River Bottom Slough Boy, Shelby Martin Anderson, Julie Ann Crouse & John Reeder, Booth Buys and Keegan, Jam Up, Jimbo Shires CrossRoads, Chad Marshall Band, and The Chill. Now that’s a Lineup!!!

26 local artisans will sell their wares, and food and beverage vendors will serve up adult beverages, amazing food, and a great time!

If you are looking for a family friendly fun-filled day of music, art, and community for all ages, Vicksburg Porchfest is it!  Join us for a stroll along Drummond Street while listening to incredible music, enjoying historic architecture, and reuniting with old friends.  

You won’t want to miss the silent auction this year either – it will be online this year for those who cannot attend!  There are some wonderful items up for bid!  Any proceeds from the event will go back into the community through charitable giving and neighborhood programs.

Transportation will be provided by the City of Vicksburg and will be FREE and available all day to and from downtown. 

There will be limited seating provided, so please bring your favorite folding chair so you can get comfortable and sit and sip for a spell!
