Sam Andrews tapped for State Tourism Board

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Mississippi Tourism Association (MTA) has announced the election of Sam Andrews of Vicksburg to its Board of Directors. Andrews will represent the Capital/River region, bringing years of leadership in both public service and hospitality to the statewide organization.

Andrews currently owns Anchuca Historic Mansion and Inn with his wife Anna Kate Doiron Andrews of Vicksburg. In addition to his work in tourism and hospitality, Andrews has held key roles in government, including serving as chief of staff to the Mayor of Vicksburg and later as a senior advisor in the Office of the Governor.

MTA cited Andrews’ experience in tourism, public affairs, and economic development as a strong addition to its board.
