Mississippi River Monsters Tournament Returns to Vicksburg 

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Mississippi River Monsters (MRM) tournament, one of the largest catfish tournaments in the country, is returning to Vicksburg this summer with bigger prizes and bolder ambitions. The tournament now in its third year, will be held at the Vicksburg Convention Center, July 25-27.

Billed as a groundbreaking moment in the sport of tournament catfishing, MRM’s Mega Bucs will feature a total purse of $200,000, including a $100,000 cash prize for the first-place team. The tournament will pay out to the top 10 places overall, and an exclusive Big Fish cash prize will be awarded on Day 1.
