Vicksburg’s season ends with loss to New Hope

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg High School’s softball team’s season ended Friday with an 18-0 loss to New Hope High School in the first round of the playoffs.

The Missy Gators closed the year under head coach Briana Knox.

Madisyn Kimble recorded the team’s lone hit, delivering a double in the loss.

Vicksburg finished second in district play this season and will lose two seniors, with the remainder of the roster expected to return.

Softball in Warren County has concluded for the 2025-26 season. Warren Central High School was eliminated Thursday, while Porter’s Chapel Academy and St. Aloysius completed their seasons in the fall.
