Vicksburg’s Vantrel Reed named the RRAC Baseball Player of the Year
Vicksburg native and Warren Central graduate Vantrel Reed has been selected as the Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Year.
Reed, who plays at Louisiana State University at Shreveport, was first in total bases (109), second in RBI (52), third in hits (63), third in triples (4), fourth in home runs (8), fourth in runs scored (49), and seventh in batting average (.380). Reed also had 26 extra base hits to go along with 21 stolen bases.
LSUS were recently named the RRAC Regular Season Championship as they sit with a 40-7 record.
