Vikettes to host June dance camp for youth

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

The Warren Central High School Vikettes Dance Team will host its annual mini dance camp beginning June 15 at Warren Central High School.

The camp is open to children ages 5-17 and will be held June 15, 16, 17 and 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Participants will have the opportunity to learn dance fundamentals and routines while building confidence and teamwork skills.

The registration fee is $65 per camper and includes an official camp T-shirt that will be worn during the showcase performance. Information regarding shirt-size collection will be communicated at a later date.

Campers will conclude the week with a live showcase on June 20, where they will perform and demonstrate what they learned during camp.

According to camp organizers, participants will have the chance to train with one of the top dance programs in the area and perform under the lights in a live showcase setting. All skill levels, schools and ages are welcome.
