Warren Central sweeps Canton volleyball on Senior Night, set to host Saltillo in playoffs

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) – Warren Central’s volleyball team closed out district play in dominant fashion Thursday, sweeping Canton in three straight sets on Senior Night.

The Vikings cruised to a 25-6, 25-8, 25-9 victory behind a balanced offensive attack. Ka’Ryn Henderson led the way with three aces and 14 kills, while Kamryn Kelly delivered eight aces, two kills and 28 assists. Arrionna Jenkins added two aces and eight kills, and Kylie Hearn tallied 20 assists.

The junior varsity also rolled past Canton, winning 25-2, 25-11.

Warren Central, coached by Jason York, finished district play with an 8-2 record and stands at 16-12 overall. The Vikings will host Saltillo on Tuesday in the opening round of the playoffs.
