WC fell short to Sterlington High on Tuesday

VICKSBURG, Miss.—Warren Central High School softball team fell short to Sterlington 2-1 on Tuesday. Sterlington is the defending 3A Champions out of Louisiana.

Maddy Pant pitched the entire game for WC and struck out four batters. KeKe McKay and MK Ferguson both had a hit for the Lady Vikes and KK Williamson earned the solo run on a passed ball. 

Sterlington got both of their runs from a 2-run home run in the fourth inning by West. They collected five hits in the win. 

WC will open district play next Tuesday against Ridgeland at home.
