WC freshmen baseball team defeated Ridgeland on Monday

Warren Central High School ninth grade baseball team knocked off Ridgeland in a double header on Monday.

The Vikings secured an 11-0 win in game one where Tristan Jamison went 3 for 3 with a couple of doubles along with four RBIs. Tanner Blok, Caden Cole(1 RBI), Joshua Williamson(1 RBI), Thomas Antwine, Justin Greer, Caden Cole(1 RBI) and Blake Caruthers all had a hit.

Beau Bradley struck out four batters, Blok struck out two and Williamson struck out one.

WC took home a 7-1 victory in game 2 where Jamison went 2 for 2 at the plate while Brooks Broome, Cole, Antwine(2 RBIs), Logan Evans and Noah Oldenburg all had one hit.

Cooper Towne struck out three batters and Caruthers struck out two.
