WC Ninth Grade Football Team Shutout Pearl 26-0 on Tuesday

Warren Central High School Ninth Grade football team quickly shut out Pearl on Tuesday in a 26-0 win. 

The Vikings took a 7-0 halftime lead after Brooks Broome caught a touchdown pass from Trystan Fuller to get WC on the board. The second half consisted of great defense along with an explosive offense to keep the Vikings ahead of the Pirates.

Xavier Jackson ran in a 60-yard touchdown in the second half while Fuller hit Landon Burks for a touchdown pass. Jamar Hunt also had a rushing touchdown and Nick Lee kicked in two extra points. 

The freshmen team is led by Head Coach Matt Williams and they will host Clinton on Tuesday.
