WC soccer teams earned district wins against Columbus

Warren Central High School soccer teams defeated Columbus on Friday night. Both the girls’ and boys’ teams pulled off victories.

WC Girls:

The Lady Vikes crushed Columbus 8-1

where Jordan Polk dominated with 3 goals and 2 assists. Allie Mason finished with 1 goal and 1 assist while Brooke Steed had two goals.

Laney Bull- 1 goal and 1 assist 

Mary Clell Allred- 1 goal 

Addi Mullen-3 assists 

Melissa Herrle- 1 assist.

WC Boys:

The boys advanced to 10-1 on the season after beating Columbus 3-1. 

Luke Bond, Jacob Porter, and Eriam Diaz-Mejias all scored one goal each in the win. 

The Vikings will host Florence on Monday.

VHS Girls:

The Miss Gators took a close 2-1 loss to Neshoba Central. Kennedy Mullins got the lone goal for VHS as they now sit with a 6-4 record on the year.

VHS will host Riverside on Monday.
