VHS and WC Soccer Teams Won on Tuesday

Vicksburg, Miss.-Warren Central and Vicksburg High soccer teams defeated their competition on Tuesday night.

VHS Girls:

The Missy Gators came out with a 7-0 win against Morton High School. Trinity McGloster had a dominating performance as she scored five goals while Amari Johnson and Kennedy Mullins both scored one goal.

Ava Pritchard had two saves as VHS improved to 8-4 on the year. 

VHS Boys:

The Gators tied with Morton 2-2 as Dacion Brown and Gideon Thompson both scored one goal each. Arthur Davis grabbed six saves and Xavier Jackson had seven in the win.

WC Girls:

The Lady Vikes remain undefeated in district play as they took down Ridgeland 3-0 on Tuesday. WC improved to 11-3 on the season with last night’s win.

Allie Mason, Mary Clell Allred, and Brooke Steed all had goals in the victory. Mason and Melissa Herrle both had an assist. Hayleigh Simmons finished with seven saves.

WC Boys:

The Vikings came out with a 3-1 win over Ridgeland. Daniel Westcott, Duke Esparza, and Luke Bond all scored a goal to improve WC’s record to 11-1-1. Jamarian Shelly had four saves.

The Vikings will play at Vicksburg High on Tuesday.
