WC volleyball team made it to the Gold Bracket Championship Game on Saturday

Warren Central volleyball team had some impressive performances on Saturday at the Pearl Invitational Tournament. The Lady Vikes pulled off four wins and made it to the Gold Bracket Championship Game for the first time in the school’s history.

At the tournament, WC defeated Richland(2-0), Wayne County(2-0), West Jones(2-1), and West Lauderdale(2-1). They would eventually fall short to Union(0-2) in the championship match.

The Lady Vikes are currently 9-7-1 and will have two district games for the upcoming week. On Tuesday, WC will host Callaway and on Thursday they will travel across town to face Vicksburg High School in a rivalry match.
