Porter’s Chapel Academy Junior High football team made a crucial comeback on Thursday to defeat Deer Creek 40-20 in their season opener.

By halftime, the Eagles trailed 14-12 but came back in the second half to secure the win. Defensively, Corvin Finch, Landon Fuson, and Grayson Price stepped up to make some key stops that heavily contributed to the win.

Offensively, Lakelan Pecanty scored a total of four touchdowns and Myles Randle finished the game with three touchdowns.

PCA will host Park Place on Thursday as they look to extend their winning tradition at home in front of the Eagles’ fans.
