Brycen Jones named MVP of the Prep Hoops Basketball Camp

Vicksburg High School basketball player Brycen Jones was named the Class of 2027 MVP of the Prep Hoops Basketball Camp. The Camp was held last Saturday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

During the camp, Jones helped his assigned team to many victories. In the final win, Jones had 21 points, 11 rebounds, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. In the 2023-2024 season, Jones was one of the lead scorers for the Vicksburg High School Gators freshmen basketball team before he was moved up to the varsity level.

Jones plays basketball at VHS under Head Coach Kelvin Carter. The official basketball season will begin in November which will mark the start of Jones’ sophomore season.
