PCA took a 58-56 loss to Delta Academy

Porter’s Chapel Academy football team took a 58-56 loss to Delta Academy on Friday night. Senior Jase Jung ran the lengths of over five football as he finished with 49 carries, 532 rushing yards, and seven rushing touchdowns. He also caught an interception on defense and had nine tackles.

Henry Slayton led the Eagles’ defense with 12 tackles and one forced fumble. Auston Moore also grabbed 12 tackles while Conley Johnston pulled away with 11 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. Hunter Simms also had nine tackles.

PCA Head Coach Blake Purvis didn’t answer for a comment.

PCA(0-2) will host Prentiss Christian on Friday in their third game of the 2024 season.
