Young Professionals membership and cookie drive tonight

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) – The Vicksburg Young Professionals Advisory Board will host a Membership and Cookie Drive on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Chick-fil-A Vicksburg. The free community event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at 3403 Halls Ferry Road and is open to all young professionals, prospective members, and community members wanting to support a fantastic cause!

Attendees will have the chance to network, meet current board members, and learn more about the Vicksburg Young Professionals organization, which focuses on leadership development, networking, and community engagement for individuals ages 21–40.

As part of the evening’s fundraiser, $1 from every Chocolate Chunk Cookie sold will benefit efforts to fight childhood food insecurity in Vicksburg and Warren County. All proceeds will support community service initiatives under the group’s outreach efforts.

Organizers encouraged attendees to bring a friend and help spread awareness of the group’s mission.

“We’re excited to connect with other young leaders and make a meaningful impact through something as simple—and sweet—as a cookie,” said a board spokesperson.

The group extended thanks to Richard and Meredith Anderson and the Chick-fil-A Vicksburg team for their partnership and continued community support.
