12 inducted into Kappa League

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 12 young men were officially initiated into the Kappa League on Sunday. Wallyss Curry, Khaleb Bailey, Michael Banks Jr., Peyton Walker, Ashton Harris, Bradley Watts, Quentin Jones, Shaun Archer Jr., Tayden Brooks, Arthur Davis Jr., Mathis Lee Jr., and Charles Bond Jr. are the new members of the Kappa League. 

During the ceremony, many members of the organization were recognized for their achievements. Landon Prentiss was named Kappa Leaguer of the Year after making straight A’s. Arthur Davis, Curry, Walker, Bond, Lester Martin, Ashton Saleh, Corbin Walker, and Corbin Watts all made the A/B honor roll.

The Emerging Leader Award went to Brycen Jenkins and Curry. Peyton Calvin and Trenton Davis won the Brotherhood Award while Harrison Lowe-Fisher won the Growth & Maturity Award. Davis, Martin, and Ricky Neal Jr. all received $200.00 scholarships.
