14 of WCJH girls’ track team advance to Middle School State Meet

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —After a successful meet at the Little Six Championship, 14 members of the Warren Central Junior High girls’ track team will advance to the Middle School State Meet.

The following athletes will compete at the state track meet under the leadership of Head Coach Latoya Lumpkin:

  • Damiya Middlebrook (high jump)
  • Kharma Shaw (shot put)
  • Kabria Hodge (shot put and discus)
  • Jermany Judge (discus)
  • Kari Taylor (100 hurdles and sprint relays)
  • Sydney Davenport (100, 200 and sprint relays)
  • Aaliyah Williams (400 dash, 4×2, 4×1 and 4×4)
  • Alayah Lott (sprint relays)
  • Mary Bullen (4×8 relay, 4×4 relay, and 100 hurdles)
  • Anniya Doss (4×4 relay)
  • Brooke Shuler (4×4 relay)
  • Kali Nelson (4×8 relay)
  • Haley Godshaw (4×8 relay)
  • Sicily Smith (4×8 relay)

The Middle School State Meet will be held on Tuesday, April 8 in Pearl.
