Triple Homicide Update

On Wednesday, November 22, 2023, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office has charged 18-year-old Deonte Carnell Taylor, of Tunica, in the triple homicide that occurred Friday, November 10, 2023, in Robinsonville, MS of Steven Dewayne Burts, 23, of Dundee; Deshun Montario Isabell, 24, of Tunica; and Tednequa Tenice Moore, 25, of Robinsonville and her unborn child.

Taylor is being charged with three counts of Capital Murder, four counts of Shooting into a Motor Vehicle and four counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.

Capital Murder [Miss. Code Section 97-3-19(1) & (2)(j)] is punishable by life in prison or the death penalty. Deonte Carnell Taylor is being held without bond. This homicide investigation is active and ongoing, with more arrests to be made.
