Christopher Williams appeared before Judge James Chaney, who accepted the plea and immediately sentenced him to 20 years in prison.

Williams was initially charged with first-degree murder in the death of 31-year-old Melvin Harris. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene following a shooting outside Waleed’s Gas Station in September 2025.

Williams’ bond was initially set at $2 million by Judge Angela Carpenter.

Following sentencing, Williams was transported to the Warren County Jail. He will later be transferred to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
