Bond revoked for Vicksburg man who was charged with having seven glock switches
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Peyton Jones, a Vicksburg man accused of possessing seven Glock switches, had his bond revoked in Warren County Circuit Court after being arrested a second time on similar charges.
Judge Toni Terrett revoked Jones’ bond during a recent hearing following his March 2026 arrest for possession of a machine gun conversion device.
Jones was initially arrested in October 2025 by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office after authorities alleged he ordered Glock switches from China that was intercepted by the United States Postal Service. Jones then received the package at a home by undercover agents. He was charged with six counts of possession of a machine gun conversion device.
Authorities said Jones was arrested again just months after being released on bail. Investigators alleged video footage showed Jones placing another illegal conversion device on the hood of a truck at a residence.
Investigator Dusty Keyes testified during the hearing.
Assistant District Attorney Branan Southerland represented the state and argued for Jones’ bond to be revoked due to the repeated arrests involving the same alleged crime.
Jones was represented by attorney Ricky Johnson.
If convicted on all charges, Jones faces up to 140 years in prison.
