Vicksburg native Wes Warnock played a key role in Delta State baseball team’s series win over Spring Hill.

In the first game, Warnock displayed his talent by going 2 for 3 at the plate and contributing two runs in the team’s impressive 6-0 victory. Although the Statesmen suffered a setback in game two with a 5-9 loss, Warnock still
managed to record one hit and one run. However, DSU redeemed themselves in the final game of the series, dominating Spring Hill with a resounding 19-2 win. Once again,
Warnock stood out, going 3 for 3 and earning one RBI with one run.

Wes is a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and former VDN Baseball Player of the Year. Delta State will play again on Tuesday when they host Southern Arkansas at 3 p.m.
