Warren Central High School baseball team picked up a 9-0 win over Long Beach on Thursday.

Doubles from Trace Hood and Cole Autrey gave the Vikings their first two runs. A triple from Ryan Nelson earned WC the 3-0 lead.

WC wouldn’t get on the board again until the fifth when Hayes Loper scored from a wild pitch and Lester Martin sacrificed to put his team up 5-0.

A walk along with a single from Martin in the sixth added the final four runs of the night as WC took home the win.

Autrey went 2 for 4 and Hood finished 2 for 2 and they both brought in one RBI. Martin collected two RBIs with one hit while Loper, Nelson, Brooks Willoughby, and Maddox Lynch each had a hit.

Willoughby struck out four batters in the win and Nelson came in to strikeout three.

The Vikings will face Southwest Christian School on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
