WC Volleyball Team Picked Up Two Weekend Victories

Warren Central High School volleyball team picked up two wins on Saturday against Pisgah and Pillow Academy. 

The Lady Vikes took down Pisgah in two sets(25-21,27-25) as Melissa Herrle pulled in six kills and 13 digs. KK Kelly and Arrionna Jenkins both had five kills. Herrle and Kelly also had nine assists.

The Vikings beat Pillow Academy 2-1 (25-19,20-25,15-8). Ellie Tennison had 5 aces while Herrle finished with 7 kills.

Ka’ryn Henderson added four kills and two blocks and KeKe McKay had 8 receptions for WC. The Vikings will host the Ridgeland on Monday in a big district match before traveling to Columbus on Thursday.
