Vicksburg’s Janiah Caples scored 33 points last night

Moorhead, Miss.-Vicksburg native Janiah Caples led Mississippi Delta Community College to a win over Northeast Mississippi CC. on Thursday night. In the 69-63 victory, Caples scored 33 points while bringing in eight rebounds and four steals.

Mississippi Delta is now 17-4 on the year as they will face Pearl River CC on Monday. Caples is now averaging 15.9 points per game along with six rebounds.

Mississippi Delta will also travel to Coahoma CC next Thursday and host East Central CC on March 3.
