City announces change to Action Line phone number

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The City of Vicksburg is notifying the public of an important change
regarding the Action Line contact number. Due to ongoing technical difficulties affecting the
current phone lines, a new number has been established for citizens to reach the Action
Line.

Effective immediately, residents should call (601) 801-3411 to access Action Line services.
This change has been implemented to ensure uninterrupted communication while the City
continues efforts to resolve issues with the previous number.

City officials are evaluating whether the new number may serve as a permanent
replacement. Even if the original number is restored, the new number will remain in service
indefinitely to ensure continued access for residents.

“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work to provide a more
reliable connection to City services,” said Bill Ford, Telecommunications Manager.
