Vicksburg native Javin Walker named interim head football coach at Madison High

TALLULAH, La. (VDN) — Vicksburg native Javin Walker has been named interim head football coach at Madison High School in Tallulah, Louisiana.

The Madison High School reported the news Tuesday, noting that Walker will take over following the departure of former head coach Levi Washington, who accepted the same position at Carroll High School.

Walker previously served as an assistant football coach with the Jaguars and is also Madison’s head track and field coach.
